Today, I went to bugis, and emerged with clothes capable of getting me through 4 days of CNY.
However, they are mainly in the shades of black/grey, the awesomest colours to wear, however totally inauspicious and inappropriate for CNY. My great cheongsam plan had been discarded, paving the way to a more ingenious scheme - wear clothes that are hanging in my closet!!!!!!!!!
And I am not supposed to be buying anymore clothes!!!!!!!!!! But I am so happy that I managed to get all these dresses at such a steal!!! And this fake longchamp bag that is so unbelievably cheap that makes me feel like collecting all colours. I am so glad I didn't buy the real one when I can use the same amount of money to get 10 of the same bags in an assortment of colours.
Must control these urges and refrain from emptying my pockets (cheap is not an excuse). Its only the first day of the month. This is gonna be really tough.

I miss you.
It has been 11 years. More than a decade. I've lived more than half of my life.
Without you.
No doubt it hasn't been easy, but God has been gracious. One of the greatest blessings definitely is the privilege of having the most caring and loving father. You must be proud of him. I acknowledge that he has raised us excellently, and this is certainly no easy feat. I'm sure you would be very glad to know that we are doing great. But I'd always like to envision life with you - I'm sure it would be perfect.
We sure have grown over these past years, in many if not all aspects of our lives. I hope that you are proud and pleased with what we have become, that the fruits of your early labour are not in vain.
Even though the time spent with you is short, I am undeniably thankful to God for placing you in my life. Throughout those years, you have meticulously shaped and molded me to the person I am. Can't imagine how different everything would have been if you were here today.
Though I consciously try not to think of you... The truth is that I miss you so dearly. You, will always have that special place in my heart. ♥

First day of school!!!!!
I'm supposed to be fast asleep by now. But I'm too excited to sleep. Or maybe it's just that I'm not used to sleeping this early.
So I pondered over my goals for this sem.
1) Attend ALL lessons dutifully (maybe except for Wednesdays)
2) Don't succumb to negative peer pressure.
3) Be awake and conscious in school at all times
4) Spend time studying instead of sleeping on the train
5) Sleep by 9pm every night (no more afternoon naps:()
6) Wake up with a "I-love-going-to-school" attitude every morning
7) Be punctual
8) Complete ALL tutorials (cannot leave any question blank)
9) Eat Macs every week
I guess these should be SMART goals. Specific, manageable, attainable, realistic & with timeframe.
