First, and hopefully the last

This is bad...... I got into an "accident" today.
Something I would NEVER wanna experience again. But thank God, it wasn't too serious.

I should have known better. Need better judgement and precision in future. (if I have the chance again). I guess I have further reinforced my dad's perception of my motor skills.

Boohoooooo.... Feel like a total l-o-s-e-r right now :'(

I'm still awake!!!!

This is just monumental. I am awake, at 3am.....studying. (albeit struggling to stay awake)

It may be no mean feat to most, but personally it is a milestone in my life. It signifies the recognition and willingness to sacrifice precious hours of rest, in order to achieve something far greater. As a wise man would put it, "The stem of greatness sprouts from the roots of sacrifice". Indeed, I feel like I've reached the pinnacle of enlightenment.

Now my goal is to retire at 4 and wake up at 7 to continue on my quest to seek economical knowledge and wisdom. Hope that I would have the discipline to wake up on time, and be able to survive on a mere 3 hours of sleep. I am stronger than this!!

"I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me." -Phillipians 4:13

If I were an MP...

I would,

  • Completely ban smoking / smokers must wear astronaut helmets when engaging in their self destructive behavior

  • Make cycling on roads illegal (punishment equivalent of attempted suicide)

  • Build a F21 store at tampines that is at least the size of Ikea

  • Increase ERP rates, in hope that COE prices will decline

  • Ensure that everyone can converse fluently in proper English (foreigners who want to enter Singapore will have to pass an English examination of O Level standard, and must get at least a distinction in oral in order to qualify)

  • Engineer double-decker MRTs, and sell sitting permits. Able-bodied passengers will have to pay premium rates (prices will be determined by market forces) while the elderly & handicapped have the privilege of free seats (anyone caught flouting these rules will be banished from public transport and forced to walk to their destination)

  • Make leaning on poles on public transport illegal (as above, inconsiderate offenders will be banned from public transport forever)

  • Allow people to have the liberty to choose their second language (it need not be their mother tongue)
